"Chinese Family has well-structured courses. Starting with their survival level, I learned the basics of Mandarin, from introducing myself to ordering food and much more. The course material offers different learning strategy for everybody. Audio, video and online courses help to deepen the language skills and to learn the right pronunciation, especially all the different and very important tones.
After finishing the survival level, I'm using my Mandarin knowledge for basic conversations. I'm looking forward to learning more and to using my knowledge while traveling across China. "

" I had previously taken one Mandarin course in the US, but from my point of view, the teaching method was so bad that I hardly learned anything and it made me think that Mandarin was an impossible language to learn. At Chinese Family I feel encouraged to keep with the challenge: now I feel I can learn Chinese! Thanks for everything. Xie Xie. "

" I have found my learning experience with Chinese Family to be extremely enjoyable and highly worthwhile. The Online Chinese Tutoring Program is very helpful for catching up classes. In just a few short months I feel I have gained a knowledge of Mandarin that i didn't think was possible. Overall the online tutorial is very well-structured and it is very convenient for me, as no need to travel but can attend the lessons at anywhere. "e

" I really enjoyed studying Mandarin at Chinese Family. Starting slowly by learning the numbers was great. It took some time to remember the different sounds, but after countless repetitions I left the class feeling I had really learnt something. Soon afterwards, at the Hong Kong airport, I was really excited about understanding the flight number announcements in Mandarin. Although I was initially suspicious of the value of studying characters, I changed my mind. It is really helpful. It is great to recognize some characters in everyday life, for example on street signs, shops, grocery products and so on. Also, somehow it is easier to associate the correct pronunciation with a character than with a pinyin word.
Language is a very important part of what we are, how we behave and how we think. To understand people better, to feel "part of it", I want to get a start with the language. Of course, in Hong Kong, Cantonese would be even better, but more generally, I thought Mandarin would perhaps make more sense.
I highly recommend Chinese Family to anyone learning Mandarin. "

" I have lived in Beijing China for over three years. I have had two different private Chinese tutors both were university students and very nice but they didn't know how to teach Chinese. I was introduced to Chinese Family and given a demo lesson and liked what I saw. I sign-up for my first class and wasn't disappointed. I have now completed Standard level and looking forward to Advanced level. If you are thinking about starting a Chinese lesson course I recommend Chinese Family it is well worth the cost and also fun. "

" What I have to say about Chinese Family first of all is that the course is effective. I had never learned so much of a language in such a short time - especially such a different language from my own. After just the first module (foundation level) I was already getting more used to the Chinese language tones and I was able to understand Chinese better. After Standard level I could already have some conversation as well as do many useful things in Chinese like booking a ticket or a hotel. The course is very down to earth and does help with daily language use. And the interesting thing is that we learn without noticing, without much effort. One day you don't know much and when you realize you are already speaking Mandarin. It is so great! I mean, so many people say that learning Mandarin is so difficult! I don't think so! At Chinese Family it feels easy.
The material used at Chinese Family is pleasant and focused on what really matters. The lessons are very clear and well distributed.
I do recommend Chinese Family for learning Mandarin. I am sure you will be well satisfied with your progress. "

"Chinese Family lessons are ideal for my busy and ever changing schedule.
The lessons were arranged to fit into my diary and the times could vary from week to week. They were also held in my office which saved travel time. It could not have been more convenient.

I like Chinese Family for many reasons, but here are some of them:
    - I can chose when to study with great flexibility
    - Courses are full of relevant and useful topics.
    - Chinese Family has enabled me to reach an intermediate level from scratch in a relatively short time
I find the lessons engaging and productive. I highly recommend Chinese Family to anyone wanting to embark upon learning this fascinating language. "

" I had been taking classes in JCU, and was very upset to learn that not many people wanted to pursue, so there were no more classes I could join. After looking at many schools, I found Chinese Family , and found the right fit for me.
The learning is progressive and comfortable.
I strongly recommend anyone who wants to learn and or enhance their Mandarin Level to attend classes at Chinese Family. "
